Abstract

It is often acknowledged that one measure of development is education. One of the primary goals of education is to create skilled manpower that can take over the obstacles in the way of development. The National Policy on Education (NPE, 2020) states that education is viewed as an excellent tool intended to advance a country's political, social, cultural, technological, and economic development. The dynamic nature of student participation is contingent upon numerous elements that fall within and outside the purview of the institution. Most people agree that one of the finest indicators of learning and personal growth is student involvement. According to researchers, involvement among university students is below expectations. Students' disengagement from learning has an impact on both society and the individual. Failure to achieve success in academic work is one of the costs. Although there is a large amount of research examining the differences in academic achievement between school sectors, less is known about the cross-sectoral variations in other areas of student participation. The present study aims to evaluate connection between professional college students' academic achievement and their level of student engagement.
